Notable Achievements

The UCSD chapter is responsible for securing the non-profit status of Project Nicaragua as well contributing thousands in fundraising. Most notably, in 2007 past campus Director, Allen Ho, attained ten thousand dollars from the Donald A. Strauss Scholarship Foundation for the purpose of donating desperately needed neurological equipment to the neurosurgery department in El Antonio Lenin Fonseca Hospital in Managua, Nicaragua.
